We went to the "big" baldwin county fair. Olivia was about 1 inch too short to ride the rides, but we had a good time walking around anyway. She ate a little cotton candy, got to play a game and really enjoyed the petting zoo. We used it as a warm up for the greater gulf state fair. She did well and LOVED the animals. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have more farm animals for her to look at though. Next year she will be the perfect age and height!!

Daphne Bayfront Park
A beautiful Mobile Bay sunset.
A heron.
Mobile's skyline with dragonflies flying around.
Daphne Bayfront Park is a wonderful walking park we have in our area. It has a boardwalk that goes through the woods and ends on a pier. It is such a great, short, nature walk. We can usually walk it twice before Olivia is asking to get out of her stroller. I took some pictures the last time we went. Enjoy!

Journey
Journey's New Album Cover.I can't believe I forgot to blog about my summer concert experience. In August, I was lucky enough to go to see Cheap Trick, Heart & Journey at The Wharf! IT WAS AWESOME! Heart was my absolute favorite. There was a great mixture of age groups there and it was packed. I went my Kate, Andrew, Andrew's sweet girlfriend, Kristin, Lauren and Amber. We had an awesome time & on the way home we went to grab some ice cream at Scoops. A special thanks to Peter, who stayed home with Olivia and let me have a night out with friends!

Sidewalk Art by Julian Beever
More Sidewalk Art by Julian Beever... No Wait Those Are By Olivia (& Ginny) Ford!!
One of our favorite activities this summer was drawing with the sidewalk chalk. I have never had much artistic talent, but Olivia doesn't seem to mind. If you want my opinion, my skill level is improving! :)

Bass Pro Shop
Our Bass Pro Shop finally opened and it is amazing. The restaurant is wonderful and has a huge saltwater fish tank. The store also has a 2 story waterfall that empties into another fish tank with... yup, you guessed it, BASS (and catfish)! The store provides about 2 hours of entertainment for Olivia and Peter.
