Baby Shower Update

Diaper Wreath for Elise Madeline Logan.

The first baby shower is this Friday. I have purchased all the streamers, balloons, tableclothes, cups, napkins, utensils & plates. When I pick up the cake Thursday, I will have to pick up the cokes, too.

I have also put the diapers on all four of my diaper wreaths. I love these because they make great decorations for the shower, can be used to decorate the hospital door after the baby is born & can be taken apart & used at home. This is the first of four wreaths I have decorated. This is for one of my co-workers having a girl! Let me know what you think!

Babies, Babies & More Babies

Right now I am in the throws of planning baby showers for four of my coworkers. The dates have been set and the first one is Feburary 29. For three consecutive Fridays, I will hang streamers, balloons and diaper wreaths. I can't wait for all the cake and presents! I hope all 4 girls have a great time.

Olivia comes to visit me at work once a weekend and she has a great time with my co-workers and friends. The hats we stock for the OR... Olivia loves them. Here are a couple of pictures of Olivia sporting her hat at home. (My mom & dad brought the Canada shirt back to Olivia the last time they went to visit Kate & Andrew.)

The Boom Boom

We took Olivia to one parade this year and she had a very good time. The Order of Mystic Magnolias in Fairhope (OOMM) had a fairy tale/Disney theme on Mardi Gras Monday night (Febuary 4, 2008). They had some great floats. Olivia had a good time, but as you can tell everyone was having some fun. Next year we hope to take her to a couple of more parades in Fairhope.

Happy Early Valentine's Day

Happy Early Valentine's Day!

Not much is going on around here. Olivia is really mastering walking and is perfecting running. It is a non stop job trying to keep up with her. She has picked up some new tricks and tries them out every time I look down for 2 seconds. She like to climb in and out of one of me antique chairs and also climbed up on the fireplace. She is very quick & very sneaky.

Her personality is also coming out more and more each day. The girl LOVES music. She will move, shimmy and shake that booty to anything from country to pop to the theme song of Law & Order. She is generally a very happy girl. She rarely cries except when she is tired. We have also been very lucky so far and have not seen her throw her too many fits.

I am back on the wagon and have re-joined Weight Watchers. I lost 2 pounds in the first week and hope to keep losing. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
4 girls I work with are expecting babies, so I will be throwing baby showers soon. Look for pictures to follow.
