With all that has been going on lately, it has left little time to post pictures and updates for all to enjoy! So here we go...
* Olivia and I went to the Loxely park with Rachael's girls, Brianna and Vanessa. The park was fenced in and had some great equipment. We had a great time.
* Olivia and I got invited to go to the beach for a day with some girls I work with and some of thier friends and thier kids. Olivia was one of 6 little girls. She loved every minute of being with other kids. The water was kinda cool so we just played in the sand and went to the pool after to swim.
* A couple of days after the beach trip, Olivia and I made the long 16+ hour drive to Ann Arbor Michigan (mid May) to see Kate graduate from Law School! Olivia did really well with all the driving and took her naps on her normal schedule. Olivia is very into Dumbo, so we brought it along with 10 other movies to entertain her in the car. Well let's just say we watched Dumbo 20+ times! It kept her happy and that's all the mattered!
* We went to Daphne's park with Amy's girls, Ella and Morgan. I got some great pics. Olivia makes a nervous wreck because she has no fear!
* Olivia attended her second birthday party. Rachael's oldest, Brianna, had her third birthday party at the Eastern Shore Center Fountain. I was able to get off work a little early and was able to join Olivia and Peter at her party.
* Olivia went to the doctor for her 18 month check up. She did really well with her shot, but still doesn't like having her head circumfrence taken. She weighed in at 25.7 pounds and was 35 inches tall. That puts her in the 68th percentile for weight and the 97th percentile for height. Olivia is a very tall little girl for her age!
* Olivia has enjoyed playing in the pool and drawing with her sidewalk chalk. We have made it so much of a daily ritual, that when we come downstairs and she sees the front door, she starts saying "side, pool, side, pool."
* I have been working on updating the house room by room. I started in the kitchen and have been removing wall paper and border. I have completely removed the first layer and and approx 3/4 finished with removing the second layer. After I have to replace an area of sheetrock, patch, sand and then I get to paint. I have plans to rip up the linoleum flooring and place tile as well as put in a new sink and tile the countertops.
* Andrew came over and helped me with the front yard. He created three flower beds and helped me lanscape them and then put down concrete edgers to maintain clean lines. I had the mailbox replaced and eventually we are going to put sod down. It looks so much nicer.
* Olivia attended her third birthday party for Jessica's oldest little girl. Amy was kind enough to take Olivia her her daughter Ella. Olivia got to jump around with the big girls. The funniest part was that Peter dressed Olivia and he put the poor girl's dress on backwards.
* Yesterday Olivia and I went down to Orange Beach with Cassie to visit Leslie and Ashleigh. Leslie's husband, Jimmy, was nice enough to take us out on the boat. Olivia really enjoyed her first boat ride and looked awful cute in her lifejacket!
I think that is pretty much all for now. Pictures will follow for each activity.
